祝! 神戸大学大学院 卒業

去年コロナの影響でシェアハウスを退去になっていた住人のS君（去年の夏の流しそうめん設営でも活躍してくれた建設コンサルタント）が大学院の卒業式？（学位授与式？）で証書を受け取るということで、HQに遊びにきてくれました。１泊して翌日に大学院へ。写真を撮ってあげました。

ちなみにアイキャッチ画像で一緒に写っている子供は同じ卒業生の外人さん（ちょうどタンザニア人さんだそう）の息子さん。撮影してたら「僕もまぜろー！」的な感じで走り寄ってきたｗ
前の晩はAさんの送別会BBQを屋上で
前の晩はAさんの送別会BBQにも参加してくれた。やっぱりうちのハウスの屋上BBQはいいねぇ。
久しぶりにS君がいるリビングで盛り上がる雰囲気は懐かしかった笑。
人生の節目に立ち会えるのがシェアハウス経営の嬉しさ

S-kun, one of our residents who had to move out of the share house last year because of COVID (he’s the construction consultant who helped so much setting up the flowing somen noodles last summer), came back to visit HQ because he was receiving his diploma at his graduate school ceremony — a graduation ceremony? A degree conferral ceremony? Either way, he stayed one night and headed to the graduate school the next day. We took some photos for him.

The Kobe University campus. Turns out this was actually my (the HQ owner’s) very first visit to the Kobe University campus lol.
👆 Striking a proud pose lol. By the way, the kid in the featured photo with him is the son of another graduate — a foreign student (apparently from Tanzania). While we were taking pictures, he came running over like “let me in the photo too!” lol.
A rooftop farewell BBQ for A-san the night before
The night before, S-kun also joined A-san’s farewell BBQ. Our rooftop BBQ really never gets old.
It had been a while, and seeing everyone gathered and laughing in the living room again with S-kun around brought back such nostalgic vibes lol.
Being there for a resident’s milestone
Getting to watch our residents grow like this, and being there for these big milestones in their lives, is one of the things that makes running a share house so rewarding 😊 S-kun, go put that degree to good use and make waves at your new company!
