ここのところ、8月9月の狭間で人の入れ替わりが続いたので、土曜日の夜に綺麗になった屋上で新歓バーベキューパーティをしました。
台風が近づいて心配してたけど、天も味方してくれたかな😊。
ハウスの近くには神戸大学があって屋上からも見えますが、神大の大学院に入学する男性、卒業して社会人になる男性の合わせて3人が新規入居に。男女のバランスが良くなったからか雰囲気が少し賑やかになりました。
自分たちが住んでいる「家」の屋上ですぐバーベキューができるって、素敵でしょ😊
We’ve had quite a bit of turnover lately, right in that gap between August and September, so on Saturday night we threw a welcome BBQ party up on our newly spruced-up rooftop.
A typhoon was closing in and we were a little worried, but I think the weather gods were on our side 😊.
Kobe University is right near the house — you can actually see it from the rooftop — and this time we welcomed three new housemates connected to it: one guy starting grad school there, and two guys who just graduated and are starting their working lives. With the gender balance evening out a bit, the whole place feels a touch livelier now.
Being able to throw a BBQ right on the roof of the “home” we live in — pretty great, right? 😊
