屋上整備のための防水塗装が梅雨のため断続的にしか進められず、遅れています。防水塗料を３回塗り重ねたあと最後にトップコート塗料を塗るのですが、その手前でまた雨になってしまいお預けに😂。

そして最初は屋上面の荒れていた手前半分だけ塗装する予定でしたが、綺麗にしてみると残り半分もやっぱりやりたいねとビルオーナーさんから言われたので、またしばらく時間かかりそうです。ビルの維持のためには大事なことだし綺麗にして頂けるのでありがたいことですね。

梅雨があけたらはやく綺麗になった屋上でBBQやりたいですね。もうちょっと待っててください😅

The waterproof coating work on the rooftop has only been able to move forward on and off because of the rainy season, so it’s running behind schedule. We’re applying three coats of waterproof paint followed by a final topcoat, but just as we got to that last step, it started raining again — so it’s on hold once more 😂.

Also, we originally planned to only redo the front half of the rooftop, which was the more worn-out section, but once we saw how nice it looked, the building owner said “let’s just do the other half too while we’re at it.” So it looks like this is going to take a bit more time. It’s important for keeping the building in good shape, and we’re grateful they’re willing to have it done properly.

Once the rainy season ends, we’re really looking forward to having a BBQ up on the newly finished rooftop. Just hang tight a little longer 😅
