🇬🇧 English translation follows the Japanese text below.

Dango on the rooftop for Taiwan’s mooncake day

Tomorrow is Japan’s mid-autumn harvest moon, but apparently in Taiwan today is the day for eating mooncakes. One of our Taiwanese housemates picked up some dango (rice dumplings) and told us all about the custom, so a few of us headed up to the rooftop to enjoy them together. This time of year the rooftop feels so good you just want to lie down and nap there, haha.

After the party, the rooftop became a study spot

After the moon-viewing party wrapped up, a high school boy (lol) brought his textbooks up to the rooftop to study, with his “tutor,” one of our female residents, keeping him company. Since she’s an only child, it seems she’s thrilled to finally have a “little brother” 😊
