神戸のシェアハウスのリビングでできること｜プロジェクター・DAZN・深夜のパスタ（2021年）

シェアハウスの内見に来た方から、いちばんよく聞かれるのが「リビングって実際どう使うんですか」という質問です。2021年、The Headquarters Kobeのリビングに起きたことを並べてみると、その答えがだいたい見えてきます。プロジェクターがつながり、DAZNがやってきて、夜中にパスタが茹で上がり、そのうち全員でフットサルコートまで出かけて、最後は商店街のお店の名前が入ったユニフォームができあがりました。
このページは、2021年にFacebookへ投稿していた記録をもとに、共用リビングを中心にしたハウスの日常をまとめたものです。
プロジェクターは、ゲーム機にも映画館にもなる
7月31日、リビングのプロジェクターにNintendo Switchをつないで、大画面でスマブラをやりました。テレビではちょうどオリンピックのサッカー日本代表・ニュージーランド戦をやっていて、テレビでオリンピックを見ながらスマブラをやるという、当時の投稿いわく「恐るべきマルチタスク」状態になっていました。
4人ぶんのキャラクターが壁いっぱいに並ぶと、テレビでやるゲームとは別物になります。ひとりが遊び始めると、通りかかった住人がコントローラーを取って、いつのまにか対戦相手が埋まっている。リビングに何かがあると誰かがそれで遊び始める、というのはこのハウスでずっと変わらないところです。
同じプロジェクターは、映画館にもなります。8月9日はお休みだったので、昼からリビングで映画鑑賞をしました。明るい時間からお酒も開けて、ソファに沈み込んで観る。わざわざ暗くしなくても十分見えるくらいの明るさは出ます。
ひとり暮らしの部屋でも動画は見られますが、休日の昼間に何となく人が集まって、何となく同じ画面を見ている時間は、共用リビングがないと生まれにくいものだと思います。
とうとうDAZNがやってきた
9月7日、ハウスにDAZNが入りました。これで家でAmazon Prime、Netflix、DAZNの3つが見られるようになり、サッカー日本代表の試合もリビングで観戦できるようになりました。
当時の投稿には「これはまた夜の寝る時間が減るぞ…」と書いてあります。実際そのとおりで、試合の日は自然と人がリビングに集まります。ちなみにこの頃はNetflixの東京リベンジャーズにハマっている住人もいました。契約をひとつ増やすだけで、家に帰る理由がひとつ増える。シェアハウスのいいところは、そのコストを全員で分け合えることでもあります。
夜中にパスタを茹でる
そして夜が更けると、舞台はキッチンに移ります。8月2日は夜中にペペロンチーノとカルボナーラを作って、みんなで食べました。
投稿にはこう書いてありました。
シェアハウスにいたら夜更かしもするし色んなものもらって食べて太っちゃうけど、それ以上にいつもニコニコな生活が出来ますよー！
深夜にフライパンをひとつ余分に使うだけで、その場にいた人のぶんの夜食になる。誰かが作れば誰かが食べる。この気軽さが、シェアハウスのキッチンのいちばんおいしいところだと思います。
画面の外へ、フットサルコートへ
リビングでサッカーを見ていると、自分たちでもやりたくなります。6月13日には、シェアハウスメンバーで和田岬のコートまでフットサルの試合に行ってきました。結果は投稿いわく「多分勝ち越した！」。勝敗の記憶があいまいなくらいの、ゆるいテンションです。
シェアハウスに住んでいると、こういう「メンバーがすでに揃っている」状態が当たり前になります。人を集めるところから始めなくていいので、思いつきがそのまま予定になります。
商店街がスポンサーのユニフォーム
そのフットサルが高じて、7月28日にはハウスのユニフォームを作りました。水道筋商店街にある様々な店にスポンサーとなってもらい、背中と胸にお店の名前が入った本格的なものです。赤玉スポーツ、土居精肉店、和in、茶太郎、カサノバデンタルクリニック、ゲストハウス萬家、美吉堂、紙皿食堂といった、ふだんお世話になっているお店の名前が並びました。
できあがったユニフォームを着て商店街を歩いたら、色んな人に声をかけられたそうです。背中の名前を見た店主さんが気づいてくれる、という仕組みになっているわけです。
シェアハウスと商店街が、ユニフォーム1枚でつながる。ハウスの中だけで完結しない暮らしが、ここから徒歩圏に広がっています。
リビングにいると、1日が長くなる
2021年のリビングでできたことを並べると、大画面ゲーム、映画、サッカー観戦、深夜のパスタ、そこから外に出てフットサル、そして商店街とのつながりまで。特別なイベントを企画したというより、リビングに人がいて設備があると、勝手にこうなっていったという感じです。
The Headquarters Kobeの家賃は¥39,000〜47,000、共益費が¥14,000（水道光熱費・ネット費込み）。プロジェクターも大きなキッチンも、この金額の中に含まれています。

The question we hear most often from people coming to view the house is, “What do you actually do in the living room?” Line up everything that happened in The Headquarters Kobe living room in 2021, and the answer pretty much appears on its own. A projector got hooked up, DAZN arrived, pasta got boiled in the middle of the night, at some point everyone headed out to a futsal court, and it all ended with a team uniform carrying the names of shops from the local shopping street.

The projector is both a game console and a cinema
On July 31st, we hooked a Nintendo Switch up to the living room projector and played Super Smash Bros. on the big screen. The TV happened to be showing the Olympic football match between Japan and New Zealand at the same time, which put us in what the post at the time called a “terrifying multitask” — watching the Olympics on the TV while playing Smash on the wall.
Once four characters are spread across an entire wall, it becomes a different game from the one you play on a TV. One person starts playing, a resident walking past picks up a controller, and before you know it every slot is filled. Put something in the living room and someone will start playing with it — that hasn’t changed here.
The same projector doubles as a cinema. August 9th was a day off, so we watched a movie in the living room starting in the afternoon. Drinks were opened while it was still bright out, and everyone sank into the sofa. It’s bright enough that you don’t even have to black out the room.
You can watch things on your own in a one-room apartment too, but that stretch of a day off where people drift together and end up watching the same screen is hard to come by without a shared living room.
DAZN finally arrived
On September 7th, DAZN came to the house. That gave us Amazon Prime, Netflix, and DAZN all at home, which meant we could watch the Japan national football team’s matches right in the living room.
The post at the time read, “There goes even more of my sleep…” And that’s exactly how it went — on match days, people naturally gather in the living room. Around then, one resident was also hooked on Tokyo Revengers on Netflix. Add one subscription and you add one more reason to come home. One of the nice things about a share house is that everyone splits that cost.
Boiling pasta in the middle of the night
And once the night gets late, the stage moves to the kitchen. On August 2nd we made peperoncino and carbonara in the middle of the night and ate together.
The post said:
Living in a share house means staying up late, and getting handed all sorts of food and putting on weight — but more than that, you get to live smiling all the time!
Use one extra frying pan late at night and it becomes a midnight snack for everyone who happens to be around. Someone cooks, someone eats. That easiness is the tastiest thing about a share house kitchen.
Off the screen and onto the futsal court
Watch enough football in the living room and you start wanting to play. On June 13th, the share house crew headed out to a court in Wadamisaki for a futsal match. The result, according to the post: “I think we came out ahead!” That’s the level of tension we’re talking about — nobody quite remembers the score.
Living in a share house makes having “the members already assembled” feel normal. You don’t have to start by rounding people up, so an idea can turn straight into a plan.
A uniform sponsored by the shopping street
That futsal habit escalated, and on July 28th we made a house uniform. Various shops in the Suidosuji shopping street signed on as sponsors, so it’s the real thing, with shop names across the back and chest. Akadama Sports, Doi Seinikuten, Wa-in, Chataro, Casanova Dental Clinic, Guesthouse Manka, Mikichido, Kamizara Shokudo — the shops we rely on day to day, lined up on one shirt.
When we walked down the shopping street wearing the finished uniforms, all sorts of people called out to us. Shop owners spot their own name on the back — that’s how the whole thing works.
A share house and a shopping street, connected by a single shirt. Life here doesn’t stay inside the house — it spreads out within walking distance.
In the living room, the day gets longer
Line up what the living room made possible in 2021: big-screen gaming, movies, football, midnight pasta, and from there, futsal outside and a link to the shopping street. It wasn’t so much that we planned special events — put people and equipment in a living room, and it just turns out this way.
Rent at The Headquarters Kobe runs ¥39,000–47,000, with a ¥14,000 common fee that covers utilities and internet. The projector and the big kitchen are included in that.
